Urban Renaissance in Lewisham
Every Council in England is required to prepare a core strategy that sets out the key decisions about how much development will happen in the borough and where, when, and how it will take place.
The Urban Rennaissance in Lewisham programme was designed to provide a comprehensive set of policies and proposals for development in and around Lewisham Town Centre. It proposed major redevelopment opportunities and major pedestrian, traffic and transport infrastructure improvements.
Through a process involving public engagement and consultation the area action plan was implemented to guide where and how development should take place over a period of five-to-ten years.
Tentacle worked closely with Lewisham Council's Economic Development team to create the branding for a range of communications materials informing residents, local business owners and stakeholders of the regeneration plans for the high street and surrounding areas within Lewisham town centre.Tentacle created the branding for a range of communications materials informing residents and stakeholders of the regeneration plans for the high street and surrounding areas within Lewisham town centre.
Dynamic and future looking, the materials helped engage the the local community, creating interest and positive attendance of URL events and community consultations.
