Creative Maidstone

Having successful designed and printed 5 editions of the Artist's Quarter Quarterly magazine, Tentacle were subsequently commissioned by FrancisKnight art consultants to design the identity, branding, billboard and book for Creative Maidstone, another Art at the Centre project for Arts Council England South East and the Channel Corridoor Partnership in association with Maidstone Borough Council.

Creative Maidstone was a bespoke billboard installation, exhibition and publication designed to raise awareness of 30 creative individuals living and working within the community. Portraits of these individuals were commissioned from photographer Manuel Palomeque and revealed in three stages on two billboards in the town centre.

Accompanying interviews were conducted alongisde the photography by Mark Hewitt which were combined with the portraits in a square publication.
