Bankside

London is a world city. It has an unrivalled reputation – financially, culturally and creatively – in which Southwark plays a major role. The Tate Gallery of Modern Art, Shakespeare’s Globe and the Millennium Bridge have focused national attention on  Bankside, on Southwark’s riverside. While the flagship projects have hit the headlines the area’s reputation as a unique part of central London has steadily grown.

Tentacle worked with Southwark council's economic development team to design and deliver Bankside Means Business, a range of materials that set out their vision of a new model for sustainable neighbourhoods in central London, where residents and office workers share and enjoy improved green, open and creative spaces and where culture and commerce meet to create a unique and dynamic environment unlike anywhere else in London.

The brochure won the Award for innovation at the London Property Marketing Awards and was instrumental in raising the profile of Bankside in its infancy and attracting a significant level of inward investment.
